5 Stars I can finally watch the whole game on big screen!
What a great TV and with the no-glare screen I can finally watch Sunday afternoon football (GO STEELERS) on my big screen TV come rain or come shine. Because I have many windows in my family room, if we have a sunny afternoon, I have to go upstairs and watch the game in my bedroom. If I am having folks in to watch the game, I have to pray for a cloudly day, LOL. I bought this set to replace a 50-inch plasma that died after only 3 yr (and 6 wk after the extended warranty expired, sigh…). I am almost happy (minus the replacement $$) that the old TV died because this one is fantastic. A beautiful picture, just incredibly beautiful, bright and clear. Sound is so-so, but decent. I can’t recommend this Samsung highly enough to anyone who is looking to buy a flat panel. My delivery experience with Pilot was good, too. In fact, even though I got a call saying it would be delivered on Monday, someone called on Sat. and brought it over that afternoon. I can hardly tear myself away from the darned thing to do the laundry!!!
5 Stars Stop Looking, You’ve found the perfect TV
Your most likely searching, as i did, for the perfect TV. Confused by all the different makes and models (plasma, LCD, True LCD), baffled by all the different numbers (1080p, 60Hz, 120Hz), and sick of reading endless reviews.
Well, you can stop now! This is the perfect TV.
I researched this topic for three months, visited every web-site, every store and read EVERY review. Changed my mind about six times, then finally took the plunge and went for the Samsung, 52-inch with the red “touch of color”. When it arrived, i was shocked at the perfect picture (i changed from a panasonic plasma – which was great, but the difference in picture quality is night and day). I had the TV mounted on the wall, the guy who came to mount it said it was the best picture quality he had seen outside of the “top of the range sharp aquos” TV’s.
I have it mounted by the window, there is no glare. The sound is good, i live in an apartment, so i can’t really say if the reviews that say the sound needs to be improved are true or not. Set up is easy, you can even connect it to the internet and it will give you the weather every morning. If you own a PS3 or X-box, you want this TV…Call of Duty 4 should only be played on this size and quality TV. And…everyone loves it, it has become the talk of my whole building.
The delivery was quick (two days) and the company were a pleasure to deal with (although i live in a doorman building, so my delivery was easy).
In conclusion, do your homework, make sure that you really want a TV this size, then buy this one, you will not be disappointed…. happy viewing.

TV has amazing quality picture. Excellent price on amazon.com $1389 that came with free blu-ray. And very happy with the quick ship and delivery. Ordered it on a Sunday night and got it on Thursday.

5 Stars 630 vs 650
After originally purchasing the 46″ 650 Samsung, I upgraded to the 52″ 630. After using both models after a few days this 630 is much better. While the 650 had many of the features I wanted DLNA, Youtube, widgets, etc. I found the interface slow and not well thought out. For example you could not save favorites with Youtube. DLNA was usable because once again it didn’t cache any information. So every time you connected to your computer it has to catalog your music or pictures library. This takes like 4 min with my collections.
I expected the same from the 630 but was pleasantly surprised by the info link interface. It was much quicker to get data from the internet and display it. While the features are limited the features provided work well.
I go the free blu-ray(samsung 1600) with the TV purchase. I interacts beautifully with the TV. It as comes with Youtube, Blockbuster, and Netflix. Youtube being what I really wanted out of the 650 series. It was much better designed on the blue ray, much faster, and had the ability to save personal settings.
So the combination of the 630 with the Blue Ray Samsung 1600, hands down beats the Samsung 650 from a deal and performance perspective.
As for picture quality both models have a amazing picture. Compared against the similar series Sony the picture much better.
Added note: First thing you should do with either the 630 or 650 is turn of the 120mhz True Motion. Its makes movies look like after school specials. I thought by turning this off it turned off the 120mhz, but it just turns off some software that supposedly helps with judder. All I really does is make your movies look like garbage. Barring that minor tweak this is a great TV.
